Chess Classes & Club

When:	Chess classes are available after school, in the evening, and on the weekend. We offer one-time, weekly, biweekly, training camps, and summer chess classes. We also offer player evaluation, match play, tournament preparation, and sparring.
What:	Individual and group classes are available for students of all ages and experience levels. We partner with the top coaches in the Bay Area to provide affordable, quality instruction geared for fun learning and desired results.
Who:	Coaches include Masters, experts and strong, active tournament players. Your coach will be referred based on your goals and experience.
Where:	Throughout the San Francisco Bay Area: The peninsula, south bay and east bay. Specifically San Jose, Saratoga, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Santa Clara, Los Gatos, Campbell, Los Altos, Milpitas, and Fremont. We also provide online lessons.
Group Classes:	We offer group Chess classes in the Cupertino & Saratoga area on Sundays. Classes are one hour each. They begin at 3pm and again at 4pm. Classes focus on fundamentals and start at $15/student per class. These classes are geared for beginning (they must know how the pieces move) and intermediate players (<800). After School Chess Programs:	We offer after school chess programs to Bay Area schools of all sizes and locations. Our students have achieved success at the local, state, and national level and have FUN. Information: info@chessthings.com
Let's Play Chess Club	The Let's Play Chess Club meets Mondays from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at: Resurrection Lutheran Church 2495 Cabrillo Avenue Santa Clara, CA 95051-1801 (Note: There is no religious affiliation nor association with the church) Lecture by Coach Mathew Benson at 6pm. Rated/casual play 7-9. Our club is geared for players <1800 and is open to the public. Equipment provided. Rated play is $5/round. [Register Now]
Rates:	Rates vary by instructor. Individual lessons start at $45. Group lesssons start at $15.
